What are the benefits of having my Mercedes serviced?

Of course, the number one benefit in having your Mercedes regularly serviced is to keep you safe!

The comprehensive safety checks carried out during our services can identify faults in a timely manner and prevent problems before they become dangerous.  Maintaining your vehicle can greatly reduce the risk of an unexpected breakdown and a more reliable car has got to be a good thing!

Servicing saves money in the long run!

Regular servicing can save you money in the long run by identifying faults before they get worse and reducing the risk of expensive repair bills. With better fuel efficiency you'll be saving money at the pump too!  Sticking to the service schedule and having detailed records of inspections and repairs will also help you preserve the resale value of your Mercedes.

What type of Mercedes service do I need?

All cars have a service schedule and most now have a service indicator light to let you know when it is due.  Some cars still have a service book, but some newer cars have an online service record.

We usually recommend alternating a full service with an interim service if you drive less than 12,000 miles a year.  We tailor a service to your requirements, letting you know what is due and when.  We're happy to help you decide what kind of service your Mercedes needs.

Who can service my Mercedes if it is still in manufacturer's warranty?

Need a Mercedes service in Newark? We can help! We'll provide genuine Mercedes or original manufacturer's specification parts, following your Mercedes service schedule to ensure your warranty is maintained.  For more information, check out our blog here

Is it best to get my service done at the same time as my MOT?

It's entirely up to you.  Some people prefer to have their service and MOT together to save time, but others prefer to have the service and MOT separately so that their cars have at least two good checks a year.   We'll send you a free reminder text and email when your annual service and MOTs are due.

What happens during the service?

Our technicians use tablets in the workshop to complete a comprehensive checklist on both full and interim services so that we can email you a copy of the report.

If we identify any additional work needed during your service, we will contact you to discuss this.  The price you agree with us prior to the service will be the price you pay unless you choose to have additional work completed on the day.

Once we have completed our safety checks, unless we need to discuss anything with you, we will proceed with the service you have booked. and we can keep you up to date on progress by phone or text message if you prefer.

To finish off, we'll even give your Mercedes a complimentary service wash!
