Where can I find you?

NEW LOCATION! - Telford Drive, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG24 2DX

From our previous location, follow Brunel Drive to the mini island and take the first left, follow Brunel Drive again and you'll be taking the left onto Telford Drive (Screwfix is opposite on the right). The road bears to the right and you'll see us on the right, next to Motor Parts Direct.

Do I need to book, or can I just call in?

We do advise calling us to book in advance if possible so that we can give you the most efficient service, however - if you need us - call us!  We'll do our very best to assist you.  For minor issues such as a bulb we can often get you back on the road in minutes!  We know that sometimes you just need reassurance about a concern you have and we are happy to take a look to make sure you're safe and if necessary, book you in when convenient for you.  We accept breakdowns 24/7.

Do you carry out MOTs?

We outsource MOTs, but can take care of your MOT for just £45 saving you the time and hassle.  You book directly with us, and we contact you to keep you updated of a pass, fail or any advisories.

Alternatively,  you can take your vehicle to an MOT Testing Station of your choice and just let us know if you have any repairs or advisories you need us to help with.

Can I get an estimate / quote?

Of course!  We will give you a no obligation estimate for the service or repair you require.  We will discuss your options and budget and offer you free advice.  We can provide you with an itemised estimate and it's your choice if and when you go ahead.  We never undertake any work without your permission. 

Is there somewhere I can wait while you do the work on my car?

Yes, we have a clean and comfortable Waiting Room, ​complimentary refreshments & Wifi.

You're very welcome to stay and we'll have you back on the road as quickly as possible.

If you fancy a stroll, Northgate Retail Park is approximately a 10 minute walk, and town is approximately 15 minutes away.  We're happy to pick up/drop off within a 3 mile radius, subject to availability.

I work early/finish late - when can I deliver & collect?

We have a secure key drop off and you can leave your vehicle for us to bring in when we open.  We can also arrange for late pick ups or vehicle collection/delivery subject to availability within a 3 mile radius.

What are my payment options?

Can you fix my car if I have an extended third-party warranty?

We get several enquiries a week from customers with extended third-party warranty policies - and help many to successfully claim on these policies.    We work with some great companies who ensure the policies are administered quickly and without fuss, however, some are difficult to work with and are excessive with the administration process/authorisation timescales.  Customers often do not fully understand their policies and can be disappointed if their claim is declined or not paid in full.  For instance, diagnosis/investigation is required, most policies require the customer to authorise the costs and don't always reimburse this. There are various terms and conditions which can have an effect on the outcome of a claim.

Many garages refuse to work on vehicles with a third-party extended warranty policy due to the additional excessive administration and issues it can cause.  We want our customers to be aware of the pros and cons of using a warranty.  We want the process to be simple and seamless, but we are working with other companies who have their own policies and procedures.

Can I buy my own parts and you fit them?

We don't fit parts (new or old) provided by customers.  We use carefully selected, reputable suppliers to ensure that if there was an issue with a product - we can be confident of a fast and hassle-free warranty exchange.  

There are a number of poor quality and counterfeit parts on websites and online auctions which can cause huge problems if they are poor quality and even lead to very dangerous situations.

We have to be able to provide you with a warranty in line with the law and ensure the work we do is insured.

In certain circumstances and on older vehicles, we know that parts aren't always on the shelf or economically viable. In such cases, we can advise you on your best options.
